Fiddlesticks Farms

The homeschool group in San Angelo had a field trip on Saturday, in Midland, TX.

They had a Corn Maze.And a big slide that all the kids loved. Dad estimated it was about 30 feet high. ( Matthew probably went down it 20-30 times i think he liked it. :) )

They had a black slide.

They had about 10 round bales of hay that the kids played on. :)

They had a horse and bull that the kids played on but no one roped it. :)

And there was a big blob type thing that you jumped on that everybody loved. :)
I tumbled on it, it was very fun. :)

There was a little cow ride that they had.
Matthew decided that he wanted to ride in the front even though every one else was in the back. lol

There was even one named Missy. :)And there was a carriage ride.

Everybody had allot of fun. :)

So Stella's new thing is to play on the Gazelle and sing Mayberry by Rascal Flatts i tried to upload a video but couldn't get it to work so here is a picture. :)
Amy is still cute as ever growing and always hungry. :)
The kids have been getting frustrated because they cant hold her very long because she will want to eat shortly.

Stella got a deer from Jamin, (a friend of ours) when he brought flowers . My Mom thought it was just the sweetest thing. :)

Flowers for Amy from a nice friend, Jamin Goecker, De'Etta you trained him well. :) He, also coming from a large family, thought of Stella and brought her a deer made out of balloons. We'll have to get a picture of Stella's deer.

Baby Girl Zesch was born Nov 8 at 3:37 am. She weighed 8 lbs and was 21 inches long. She is named Diez for now, subject to change when the others wake up or Julie reads this.

Pictographs and a Turtle

Monday we went to see the Paint Rock Pictographs. It was a fun field trip. We went about 10 years ago, so it was a good time to let the younger crew take a tour. We got there and the Mrs. Campbell (82 yrs. young) started our tour with some discussion on how they found the pictographs.

Then we set out to look at the pictographs. There were lots of them. It was interesting to hear what they meant and and how the Indians painted them around the winter, and summer solstice. Some were about killing Buffalo, some were recording the times of the year that they had a celebration, like a reunion. Fun and interesting.

Tuesday, Michael found a box turtle. Joy looked info up on the internet and found out what they eat, so we told the kids they could keep him for a while.

Stella was looking super adorable this morning so we had to take some pictures of her to post. Mostly for Annie I guess. lolI fixed her hair in a princess braid :)So adorable!! :)
