Today we are planting another tree. This tree is a Desirable Pecan and we are putting it in front of the porch on the north east corner. We started digging the hole at 9:00 or 9:30 this morning. It was about 11:00 and we had been digging for several hours and were close to being finished when Daddy started looking at the hole and decided that he wanted to move it. Mommy and Daddy talked about it and decided that since the tree was going to be here for at least the next 100 years or so we should put it where we want it to be a hundred years from now, so we ate brunch and went back outside to get back to work and saw that the new hole is like 5 feet away from the old hole. We worked on the hole for about another hour in the hot hot sun and decided to wait until later in the day when we had a little shade to finish the hole. Here are some pics showing the hole number one and two.

Yeah, because in 100 years, 2 feet will make SO much difference.
It is five feet, and yes it will make a large difference in how much the front porch is shaded.
Either you changed it or I read it wrong, because I only said 2 feet because I thought you did.
Annie did put that but Dad made her change it because it was 5 feet from the center of one to the center of the other one.
