Easter celebrations and emotions

This year as we gathered to worship on Easter, I was overcome with  Thankfulness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ  going to the cross for us.  I was overwhelmed more this year - that Jesus came to shed His precious blood, the blood He shed for you and I to live life fully and eternally so resonated in my spirit this year.  I was overcome with Thankfulness for everyone who spoke and shared Jesus with Joshua;  knowing that he is living, fully living a real life to the fullest with Jesus. Although missing him feels like a gut punch, the comfort of knowing he is really living life to the fullest far outweighs the punch. I so look forward to the day that we will all be together again!!!! Until then, we celebrate our Joshie memories!!!!!
