One Hundred and Twenty Nails

Tonight I was cutting all the kids finger nails and toe nails
1. of all because they needed it
2. so they would look somewhat better for Graduation on Saturday since they all had very long and dirty nails.
Mommy and Jenny were gone so I was doing it all by my self. After getting through the first hundred nails or so I got to thinking about how different all the kids nails look, they have the same parents but there is a lot of difference in how they are shaped and how they look and everything. It was a good reminder of how God has made us all completely different and even though two people may seem a lot a like or have the same parents or whatever God has made us all completely different and unique to do whatever he has for our lives. I am Graduating on Saturday and so I have been thinking about gifts and talents and callings lately and this was just a good reminder that God has a special plan for my life unlike anyone else and God knows exactly what it is and will show me in his time, and he can show you stuff in something as simple as a hundred and twenty nails :)

Pictures

Here are some pics of what the kids have been doing lately, enjoy.
The Masked Man

The Princess

The Masked Man and the Princess

Stella didn't have that many pajamas so we got her some new ones. When I saw the princess ones I had to get them for her and the night gown just happened to have slippers and a head band with it. I think that Stella looks adorable in it and that the slippers look like ballet shoes but Jenny thinks that they look like old lady in the nursing home slippers, but Stella really likes them . :)
Here are some pics of the kids jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler under it.

Here is a cute one of the twins I told them to put their hands on their shoulders and this is what I got.

Baby Tickers

Ok for those of you who do not know Mommy is pregnant!!!!!!!
Since she is pregnant she asked me to put a ticker on the blog.
There were so many to choose from that I could not pick just one so I had to pick two :)
The first one is for Daddy, I loved the little baby flying and couldn't resist picking that one. The next one I really liked because it gave some information about how the baby was developing and I think that is cool.
So that is the story of why we have two tickers on the blog not because it is twins but because I wanted two :)

A new garden

We've been working on a new garden for about 4 or 5 months. We have a beautiful finished product. I have a wonderful husband who has built a fabulous garden with the help of everyone else. Some helped more than others because of preplanned activities or because they were a little short on one end.
Back in January Roy rented a front end loader and hauled about a foot of caleche out of our new garden spot. Then we had good soil mixed with compost hauled in. Next came the beginnings of a fence. Roy and the girls dug 25 post holes. 4 the old fashion way and the rest with an auger. Stella checked to see if they were deep enough. They concreted all the posts in and then the welding began. Thank goodness we didn't forget a child in a hole. Hee Hee Roy had lots of want to be helpers when he was welding. Jimmie was his closest buddy, even when he was sleeping. After the fence was up we sanded it. Annie conveniently had a piano contest in Midland that weekend. Jenny swears she planned it around fence sanding. Though she in fact had nothing to do with it. Everyone helped sand. After the sanding the girls and Roy primed and painted. Then it was time to put the wire up. This made for lots of sore hands. While we were getting the fence up M,M,and S figured out they could go down the zip line if there was a loop in the rope. We planted the last two weeks and are anxiously awaiting yummy fruits and vegetables. Thank you my wonderful husband for having a beautiful vision. He sees things that don't exist so much better than I do. I'm so glad God gave me such a great guy.
